Ballinger Industries Unveils B-D900

Next-generation heavy-duty bulldozer with hydrostatic drive, intelligent blade control, and 15% fuel efficiency gains.

Ballinger B-D900 Series Bulldozer

FINDLAY, OH — Ballinger Industries, Inc., a leader in American-made heavy equipment, today announced the launch of its B-D900 Series Bulldozer, a machine engineered from the ground up to redefine performance and efficiency in large-scale earthmoving and mining operations.

The B-D900 is the culmination of a three-year research and development effort, focusing on integrating advanced power systems with operator-centric technology. The result is a dozer that delivers an unprecedented combination of raw power and intelligent control.

"The B-D900 is more than just a new model; it's a statement about the future of heavy equipment," said Elias Ballinger, CEO of Ballinger Industries. "We've listened to our customers in the field and delivered a machine that is not only tougher and more powerful but also smarter and significantly more fuel-efficient. This machine will change the economics of large-scale site preparation."

Key Technological Advancements

The B-D900's performance gains are driven by two core innovations:

1. Hydrostatic Drive System: The proprietary hydrostatic transmission system provides continuous power to both tracks, allowing for superior maneuverability and on-the-go steering under full load. This system is key to the B-D900's 15% improvement in fuel efficiency compared to conventional torque converter models.

2. Intelligent Blade Control (IBC): The integrated IBC system uses high-precision GPS and inertial sensors to maintain blade position within millimeters, drastically reducing the need for manual rework. This translates to up to 20% faster grading cycles and a significant reduction in operator fatigue.

Operator Comfort and Safety

Recognizing that the operator is the most critical component, the B-D900 features a completely redesigned cab. It boasts a pressurized, climate-controlled environment, a fully adjustable air-suspension seat, and a 12-inch touchscreen display for all machine diagnostics and telematics data. Safety is enhanced with 360-degree camera visibility and an object detection system.
